Our Story
Meet the Escobar family, hailing proudly from Plano, TX!
Our loving family consists of a Celso, Cally, and our son and daughter.
It all began in 2021, when our imaginative son came up with a brilliant idea: a snack stand right outside our home to earn some money. We started with various snacks and drinks, but as the days grew warmer, we ventured into the world of selling snow cones. To our delight, they became an instant hit, gaining popularity in no time! This realization ignited our passion to embark on a journey to discover bring joy to our community with the fluffiest ice and delicious syrups.
Since then, we've had our share of highs and lows while striving to turn this dream into reality. But in 2023, our family officially began this wonderful venture. Our hearts are brimming with anticipation, eager to serve our community with shaved ice!
What is Shaved Ice?
Shaved ice is an ice-based dessert made by shaving a block of ice and flavoring it with syrup and toppings. Distinct from a snow cone which uses crushed ice, the ice is thinly shaved to create a unique texture that is more powdery and snow-like. Depending on the part of the country, shaved ice will be called by different names. For instance, in Louisiana they're called "snowballs", some Texans call it "snow cones", while in Hawaii it's called "shave ice" (without the 'd'). No matter what you call it, as long as it's shaved from a block of ice and not ice cubes, you'll be sure to enjoy a soft and tasty treat.
